Fourier descriptor is one of the important methods of the analysis and recognition of object shapes. Using continuous Fourier transform based on polygon approximation of the curve method for calculating the Fourier descriptor, and through the shape of the main method of boundary starting point the elimination phase, defining a new spin, Pan and scale invariance of normalized Fourier descriptors. With the use of the discrete Fourier transform and normalized model compared to conventional Fourier descriptor, the new normalized Fourier descriptors at the same time preserves the modulus and phase characteristics, thus better able to identify the shapes of the objects. Experiments have shown that the new normalized Fourier descriptor than conventional Fourier
