A Gossip Protocol for Dynamic ResourceScalability: The resource allocation process must bescalable both in the number of machines in the cloud andthe number of sites that the cloud hosts. This means thatthe resources consumed (by the process) per machinein order to achieve a given performance objective mustincrease sublinearly with both the number of machinesand the number of sites
